This property is one of those properties that exceeds your expectations. Beautiful setting...kids caught little fish on worms in the river, loved the playground and hot tub. Quiet lot! Also, there is a great little coffee shop less than 2 minutes away that is a must stop every day! Thanks for everything!

This stay was Stellar ✨ down to every little detail with the design, immaculate cleanliness and linens, this is the premier location to book in Mount Airy Nc. You are so close to all the charm of downtown but it feels so private and like you’re in nature with the well thought out backyard design and right on the river! This is honestly probably my favorite place I’ve ever stayed! The host was so kind and responsive and I have nothing but positive praises to sing about this wonderful experience. I can’t wait to come back! If I could give 6 stars I would ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Our stay at River Retreat was incredible. The house was extremely clean, comfortable, and recently remodeled and just so nice. The wonderful views of the river and property were enjoyed by everyone. The hot tub on the deck was perfect for relaxing. It feels very remote, yet is just a few minutes from Mount Airy main street for shopping and restaurants. Perfect place to stay and certainly will be back!
