This characterful cottage has been described often as a 'gem' and comfortably sleeps 4 with a characterful lounge and dining area, a neat, well equipped kitchen, 2 double bedrooms and a contemporary bathroom upstairs with views to the hills behind.
There is a super-king bed in the master bedroom and in the second bedroom twin beds. Views overlooking the dale. The bathroom is spacious and tasteful with a large walk in shower, heated towel rail and lovely views to the hills behind.
The lounge has two brand new leather sofas, a cosy log burner and feature fireplace and an entertaining area for dining. Alexa and wifi are available and there is a smart TV for entertainment as well as some games provided.
There is a sunroom/porch that opens onto a small patio with outdoor furniture for enjoying the lovely views of Nidderdale with a relaxing beverage.
A walkers paradise, the cottage has trails from the doorstep and is also conveniently located a 10-15 minute walk from the centre of our pretty village of Pateley Bridge.
A single parking space is provided for the Cottage for easy and convenient access. 2nd cars can be parked for free in Pateley bridge
Heating is provided with overnight storage heaters and of course there is a lovely cosy wood burner in the lounge which will heat up the whole cottage on a winter night.
Guest access
Guests are able to check in from 3pm and check out is 10am. Details for the key code is provided on booking and guests can access the property on arrival. There is a single parking available exclusively for the Cottage.
Other things to note
The Cottage provides a haven to enjoy the beautiful Nidderdale countryside yet has the convenience of being able to walk into Pateley Bridge and experience many attractions on the doorstep. Less than 30 minutes drive is the National Trust Treasure 'Fountains Abbey'. The Spa Town of Harrogate is 35 minutes away and York is easily reached for a day out too. There are so many local attractions from the oldest sweet shop in the world in Pateley Bridge, to exploring Ancient caves of Stump Cross Caverns, or for the adventuress there is Lightwater valley theme park. There are many lovely pubs and restaurants and quaint Grassington, home to James Herriots TV show is only 25 minutes drive.
