Welcome to the “Meer und Mütze” vacation rental, your cozy retreat right on the water. High up on the 5th floor, to the left of the Helgolandhaus Avantgarde in Wilhelmshaven, you’ll enjoy a wonderful view of the sea and the harbor—complete with the cries of seagulls and the gentle bustle of the inner harbor.
The apartment has been lovingly and thoughtfully furnished, combining maritime charm with genuine comfort. The centerpiece is the spacious, open-concept living and dining area: The cozy U-shaped leather sofa invites you to enjoy relaxed evenings, long conversations, or a movie with a view of the sea. Here, you’ll feel right at home—just like when visiting good friends.
Original works of art by local artists adorn the walls, creating a very special atmosphere and giving the apartment its unique character. If you like them, some of these works are even available for purchase—perhaps you’ll take a little bit of that vacation feeling home with you.

The open living and dining area with a cozy U-shaped leather sofa is perfect for relaxed evenings, long conversations, or watching a movie with a view of the sea.
Two cozy bedrooms ensure restful nights:
One bedroom with a comfortable double bed (2 × 2 m)
Another bedroom with two single beds (90 × 2 m each)
Both rooms are in a quiet location, well-equipped, and feature convenient USB charging ports. The master bedroom also features inductive charging stations.
The fully equipped kitchen has everything you could want: stove with oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, Tassimo pod machine, kettle, toaster, refrigerator with freezer compartment, soda maker, and a well-stocked spice rack—perfect for enjoying your vacation.
The bathroom features a bathtub with a shower option, a washer-dryer, a hair dryer, and a magnifying mirror—both practical and comfortable.
Two TVs provide relaxing entertainment:
120 cm diagonal with streaming in the living room
80 cm diagonal in the bedroom
Amenities include Wi-Fi, towels and bed linens, an outdoor parking space, and the option to securely store your own bicycles in the underground garage.
On the west and east sides of the house, there are large rooftop terraces on the top floor with fantastic views over the Jadebusen and the harbor.
For families, a crib, a high chair, and two lounge chairs are available.
Special needs have also been taken into account: To assist guests with hearing impairments, Bluetooth headphones, a flashing doorbell light, a flashing alarm clock, and visual smoke detectors are provided.
And because vacations are best when the whole family is together, up to two furry friends are, of course, welcome to join you.
