About this apartment rental

Residential complex situated in Stintino on a hill overlooking the sea, close you will find "La Pelosa’’ known as the beach with the most beautiful sea in the world. In the charming city center, you will find supermarket, local crafts, shops, nightclubs and discos. The apartment is elegantly furnished and has TV, common garden, terrace, parking place. Kitchen room, living room with sofa bed, double bedroom, bathroom.

The description of this property is most misleading. There is no swimming pool. The 'garden' is a dried-out area of rough dry grass. There is no sea view. When we arrived there were no sheets on the bed, towels, toilet paper etc. Paolo said this was usual when renting apartments in Italy and we would have to pay extra for sheets and towels(!). However, later all this was found in the apartment. Finally it was frustrating that when we settled in to cook our evening meal we discovered that the gas was not connected to the cooker. A neighbour helped us to locate the external gas bottle .
