Our thatched Frisian house, number 25, is located in the Frisian village of Oldsum, where its typical Frisian charm promises a wonderful vacation.
Centrally located in the quiet village of Oldsum, our Frisian house No. 25 offers four guests the chance to enjoy a wonderful vacation in the Föhr countryside—surrounded by nature and, above all, authentic Frisian life. Oldsum is one of the villages where “Fering”—the Frisian language—is still spoken, but don’t worry: everyone here also speaks Standard German.
House 25 is a single-story home consisting of a kitchen, a living room, two bedrooms, and a bathroom with a separate toilet and a large entryway. The kitchen is fully equipped, and from the dining area you have a lovely view of the garden. Relax in the cozy living room, which invites you to linger and unwind with Wi-Fi, a stereo system, a TV, and a DVD player, or enjoy a Föhr tea along with a good book. Two bedrooms promise peaceful nights. One features a double bed, while the other has two single beds. The shower room is functional. The separate toilet is a nice touch. A special highlight in the summer is the beautifully landscaped garden with a garden shed, wooden deck, and patio furniture (available from approximately April through the end of September), and children will love the swing set. Experience the island’s peaceful side and the Frisian way of life in a truly Frisian village, where a supermarket, restaurant, cafés, and even the bus stop are all within walking distance...
Please note that the ceiling height of 2.0 m is reduced in some areas to approx. 1.80 m due to roof beams.
