The 40-square-meter studio apartment offers a surprising amount of comfort in a compact space. The sofa bed doubles as a cozy bed and is equipped with a high-quality mattress topper that ensures restful nights. The small bathroom with a shower is modern and functional, and a small walk-in closet provides convenient storage space.
Thanks to underfloor heating, it stays comfortably warm in every season, and blackout curtains allow for complete darkness—ideal for relaxing mornings. The kitchen is fully equipped, making even longer stays effortless. A grocery store is about 2 km away—perfect for quickly stocking up on essentials.

Just a short walk away is the “Windbusch,” our local little hill. From there, the view stretches far across the Bergisch landscape all the way to the Siebengebirge. Despite its idyllic location, Cologne is within easy reach—only 30 km separate our village from the big city.

The surrounding area is perfect for short walks and long hikes: babbling streams, sweeping views, and rolling hills characterize the Bergisches Land. Nearby, you’ll find cozy cafés and restaurants, numerous riding stables, the Schloss Georghausen golf course, the Lindlar Open-Air Museum, and a pottery workshop where you can purchase handmade vases, tableware, or the typical Bergisch butter dishes. The region’s many reservoirs offer ideal opportunities for paddling, swimming, or simply relaxing by the water. The impressive Altenberg Cathedral is also just a short drive away.

Cologne itself offers a wealth of experiences: the world-famous Cologne Cathedral, a vibrant museum scene, the Old Town with its breweries, the Rheinauhafen with its modern architecture, and countless boutiques, cafés, and restaurants. It’s wonderful to stroll along the Rhine, and events such as concerts, exhibitions, or the Cologne Carnival make the city a place brimming with culture, joie de vivre, and diversity.
