A warm welcome to the “Hygge - Huus”!
“Hygge”—that feeling of happiness that comes from spending time with family and friends, laughing, eating, or simply enjoying nature in peace! True to this motto, we look forward to welcoming you to our thatched-roof vacation home, newly built in 2018. Nestled against a typical North German stone wall—adorned with wonderfully fragrant wild roses in the summer—and surrounded by a beautiful garden, the vacation home is just a few minutes’ walk from the sea. The moment you step through the white garden gate, you’ll be swept up in that vacation feeling. The entire house is furnished in a light, Nordic Scandi style. In the spacious, open-concept living and dining area with a fully equipped kitchen, you can enjoy a wonderfully relaxed and leisurely breakfast, play for hours, or simply “chill out”—Internet TV (with Netflix) and a stereo system are available! A sauna with a wellness shower, a separate restroom with a window, and an utility room with a washing machine, clothes rack, iron, and ironing board are also located on the first floor.
Upstairs, it’s all about sleeping like you’re in heaven and dreaming under a thatched roof! The Hygge - Huus offers plenty of space for 6 people. One bedroom with a view of the Baltic Sea and a 180x200m double bed, as well as a second bedroom with a 160x200m double bed and a daybed that converts into a 160x200m double bed, offering a view over the surrounding fields—all ensuring you’ll sleep soundly and wake up refreshed. The beautiful bathroom with a bat-shaped dormer window is an absolute oasis of wellness. While enjoying a relaxing soak, your gaze wanders past the thatched roof and up into the sky. A hair dryer, cosmetic mirror, and real-glass shower are also included. Underfloor heating throughout the house provides cozy warmth, and insect screens on the windows keep summer pests at bay. A security deposit of €200.00 is required.
In the garden, you’ll find a sunny patio with patio furniture and a beach chair. An electric grill is available for cozy barbecue evenings.
