Visitor’s tax in Hohen Wieschendorf: From April 1 through October 31 each year, the municipality charges a visitor’s tax. This tax is remitted to the municipality by the property owner. Costs: Ages 16 and older: €1.00 per day | Ages 6–16: €0.50 per day
This fee is not included in the travel price and will be billed separately upon booking.

Welcome to our lovingly furnished, modern vacation apartment, “Windrose”!

The 94 m² apartment is divided into two levels.
The large living room is located on the lower level. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer a view of the surrounding green space.
The living room also opens onto the glass-enclosed loggia.
Also on this level are the large, fully equipped kitchen and a shower room with a sink and toilet.
From the entryway, which features a large coat closet, a staircase leads to the upper floor.
There you’ll find the two bedrooms, each with a comfortable 180x200 double bed. From here, you have an unobstructed view across the fields to the Baltic Sea. One of the bedrooms has an additional sofa bed. On this level, there is also another shower/tub bathroom with a sink, toilet, and wall-mounted hair dryer.

The apartment offers free Wi-Fi.
In the basement, there is a common area with coin-operated washing machines and dryers.

The apartment comes with its own underground parking space. Bicycles can also be parked in the underground garage.
There are two public charging stations with four charging points located directly in front of the apartment complex.

The apartment is located on the west side of a small apartment complex with a spacious, open garden area in an absolutely quiet location. The property is surrounded by fields, a bird sanctuary, and a golf course. The grounds feature barbecue facilities and (on the east side) a children’s playground.

The complex also offers a sauna cabin and a table tennis room.

The buildings are situated on a headland called Huk. The Baltic Sea beach is approximately 800 m away. There, you can choose between a swimming beach with beach chair rentals and beach volleyball facilities, a small marina, and an Italian
restaurant with an outdoor terrace and café, or the natural beach with many small stretches of sand below the cliffs. Here, everyone can find their own private spot, free from mass tourism. The natural beach, for example, can be reached via a shaded path that’s closed to traffic.PGJyPgPGJyPgThe natural beach, which stretches around the peninsula all the way to Wohlenberger Wiek, is ideal for long hikes. High up along the cliffs, a trail also winds through the coastal pine forest, offering ever-changing views of the
Baltic Sea all the way to the island of Poel or across the Wohlenberger Wiek.

The area is also an ideal spot for dogs to hike and run around on the beach.

There is also an 18-hole golf course on the peninsula.

The “Windrose” vacation rental stands out for its quiet yet central location near other attractions:
The nearby Wohlenberger Wiek Bay on the Baltic Sea offers a long beach with opportunities for swimming, surfing, kitesurfing, and
sailing.
A highlight for the whole family is a visit to the Pirate Open-Air Theater in Grevesmühlen.
The Baltic Sea resort of Boltenhagen, with its pier and tourist spa facilities, is about a 15-minute drive away.
It’s also about a 15-minute drive to the World Heritage city of Wismar, which offers many attractions such as the harbor, the Phantechnikum, the Wonnemar water park with its many water slides, outdoor pools, and large wellness and sauna area, a replica of a Hanseatic cog, or a visit to the island of Poel (by ferry, a 1-hour ride), to name just a few.
On other day trips, you can reach the two other UNESCO World Heritage cities, Lübeck and Schwerin, in about 50 minutes each.
