About this apartment rental

When it comes to studios, it doesn’t get better than this - a fully equipped kitchen, dining space and a lounge. But it’s the heritage touches that really make it. Located inside a converted Edwardian villa on a quiet street, this queen studio features a lovely wrought-iron balcony to enjoy your morning coffee, high ceiling and polished hardwood floor. Additionally, this studio offers a laundry room with washing and dryer machines. Trains are a 10-minute walk with plenty of on-street parking.

This second-floor studio features a lovely balcony with outdoor furniture, meaning there’s lots of natural light and airflow. There’s a two-person dining setting inside as well, which doubles as a desk for visitors on business. There are two flights of stairs from street level to the property.

Located in Sydney’s trendy Inner West, Lewisham is a relaxed residential suburb characterised by Victorian and Edwardian mansions, post-war apartments and quiet streets. Young families and older residents are attracted by its access to the Light Rail and Sydney Trains, as well as its convenient location near the city and the airport. It’s also close to some great dining and entertainment areas, including New Canterbury Road, Norton St and Marrickville Road.

You are staying in a friendly and peaceful neighbourhood and we kindly ask you to respect the community and your surrounding neighbours. The following strict House Rules apply:
- No loud noise between 10 pm and 8 am
- No parties or antisocial behaviour
- No additional people are to access the property without our prior approval
- No pets are allowed in the property without approval
- No smoking is allowed at any times
- If you break something, please let us know

- To help protect all floor coverings do not wear any shoes inside the property

Please be aware that excessive noise such as amplified music, vocals or screaming or anti-social behaviour in the property or common areas can cause neighbours to complain to us, the Building Manager, Council Rangers or Police.

IMPORTANT: Any breach of the House Rules may lead to a $500 fine plus compensation for any cost/damage created and immediate eviction of the property.

Finally, when checking out, we kindly ask you for the following:
- Please leave all beds unmade
- Please clean up your dishes and put them away
- In case you have rearranged furniture, please put it back to the original location
- Please take out the rubbish and remember to use the right bins
- Please ensure all appliances, A/C and lights are off and doors and windows are closed

Very comfortable and quiet.

The location is great and the building rather charming but it does need some maintenance. I had issues with a broken toilet seat and a broken venetian blind in front of the French doors onto the balcony. The toilet seat was fixed promptly but the guy came to measure up the blind and nearly two weeks later it still hadn't been replaced. I had to have the blind either up or down as I had to tie it up to keep it open. I couldn't access the balcony except when it was up. It meant that I had either no privacy or no light in the apartment. They have refunded me two nights over an 18 night stay which made me feel a little better but honestly I could have gone to Spotlight and bought a blind to fit that would have resolved the problem in less than 24 hours.
