Its unique location right on Niendorf Harbor and just a stone’s throw from the sea—so you can jump into the Baltic Sea in the morning before even having your first cup of coffee—makes the Hafendeck something special. There’s a lively buzz in and around the quaint yacht and fishing harbor, and there’s always something to see. Fresh rolls are available at the bakery around the corner, fish caught that very morning is sold straight from the boat, and numerous restaurants and cafés—as well as the Niendorf Sailing School, a bike rental shop, and an adventure playground for younger guests—are all located in the immediate vicinity.
The Hafendeck vacation rental is located on the first floor of a modern new building with only 3 units and, spanning 100 square meters across 2 levels, offers ample space for 5 people to enjoy a relaxing vacation right by the beach. The heart of the apartment is the light-filled living and dining area with floor-to-ceiling windows and a beautiful view of the wooden deck and the garden, which is reserved exclusively for guests of the Hafendeck. The spacious sun terrace is covered and faces both south and west. Garden furniture and two deck chairs are provided so you can enjoy the sun from morning to night in a unique harbor atmosphere and savor impressive sunsets with a glass of wine. The open kitchen is integrated into the living area and fully equipped. On the first floor, you’ll also find Bedroom 1 with a box-spring bed (160x200), a spacious closet, and blackout pleated blinds, as well as a small bathroom with a shower, toilet, sink, and window. Another separate room, furnished with a desk, serves as a home office.
A spiral staircase leads to the basement, which features floor-to-ceiling windows and large walk-in light wells, ensuring ample natural light. Here you’ll find Bedroom 2 with a box spring bed (180x200) and Bedroom 3 with a single bed (120x200). The windows are fitted with curtains to darken the rooms. Between the bedrooms is another bathroom, equipped with a small walk-in shower, a small sink, a toilet, a towel warmer, and a window. The necessary pumping system for this bathroom is installed underground beneath Bedroom 2. When the tank is full, a brief pumping noise can be heard.
Wi-Fi is, of course, available for free use. There is one parking space on the property; maneuvering large vehicles is not particularly easy. The washing machine and dryer are located in the communal basement and can be used free of charge. Bicycles can be stored in the dry bike shed.
