About this apartment rental
Lykke – Relax Under a Thatched Roof
The “Lykke” vacation rental is located in a charming Frisian farmhouse with a thatched roof in the quiet village of Wrixum and is the perfect retreat for couples seeking a peaceful getaway for two by the North Sea. As soon as you step inside the apartment, you’ll feel the soothing blend of maritime charm and cozy comfort.
This ground-floor apartment offers everything you need for a relaxing vacation in a compact space: a tastefully furnished living and dining area with a modern kitchenette, an adjoining bedroom with a double bed, and a small bathroom with a shower. There’s also plenty of room for a crib if you’re traveling with little ones. Pets are not allowed in this apartment.
Quiet bike paths lead right from the front door through the expansive island landscape and connect Wrixum with the surrounding villages. Wyk is less than a 10-minute bike ride away, where you’ll find the harbor, promenade, small shops, restaurants, a wave pool, the Wadden Sea Nature Reserve, and the long sandy beach overlooking the Halligen. In Wrixum itself, there’s a bakery, a restaurant, and a bike rental shop within walking distance.
