Located right on the sea, with its own terrace in the higher dunes on Wyk’s south beach, you can enjoy a completely secluded view of the North Sea and the Hallig islands all the way to the Amrum lighthouse. Haus Rohwer was built in 1926 as a solid-wood house and has been home to several generations of the same family. After extensive renovations—including a new thatched roof, restoration of all wooden furniture and interior woodwork, new plumbing fixtures, and a new, comfortable built-in kitchen—the house still retains the charm of years gone by. Great care was taken to preserve the house’s original simplicity. Breathe in the scent of wood and feel the changing tides right outside your front door. Incomparable and unique.
