—a special place high above the Eider River, on the only high bank of Schleswig-Holstein’s largest river.
This extraordinary house is located in Süderstapel, a quiet neighborhood of the municipality of Stapel in the district of Schleswig-Flensburg,
whose architecture is reminiscent of an American bungalow and which, with its earth-toned roof of
French clay shingles, almost blends into the landscape.
The ground-floor apartment is a retreat for two people, stripped down to the essentials yet full of warmth.
Spanning approximately 50 square meters, it features a harmonious interplay of design, natural materials, and tranquility.
A spacious, south-facing terrace spans the entire width of the house, offering an unobstructed view of the Eider River.
A place for your first cup of coffee in the morning, for quiet afternoons, and for evenings when you simply stay right where you are.
Inside, oak wood paneling and elegant herringbone oak parquet flooring define every room.
The bathroom features a walk-in shower and fine Jura natural stone. In the bedroom,
you’ll find a comfortable double bed—and the special feeling of waking up in the morning to a view of the Eider River. A moment you’ll never forget.
The furnishings are deliberately minimalist, carefully selected for their high quality, and give nature the space it deserves.
Unique light fixtures add subtle accents and bathe the apartment in a warm, cozy glow in the evening.
On cooler days, the wood-burning stove provides cozy warmth and a particularly inviting atmosphere.
Amenities include free Wi-Fi and an 11-kW electric car charging station right next to the house.
Charging station usage is billed based on consumption per kWh. Electricity, water, and heating are already included in the rent.
Sustainability is part of the overall concept here—with the KfW 55 standard, an air-source heat pump, green electricity, and short distances for bicycles.
