Welcome to The Lowcountry Abode, your beautifully renovated retreat in the heart of historic Charleston. Originally built in the 1840s, this gem masterfully blends pre–Civil War architecture, like charming exposed brick fireplaces and hardwood floors, with stylish, modern comforts for an unforgettable stay.



Perfect for large families or groups, this spacious home accommodates up to 12 guests across two full levels. You'll find two separate living rooms and two full kitchens, providing plenty of room for everyone to relax and connect. Unwind on one of the two classic Charleston porches with comfortable seating, perfect for morning coffee or an evening cocktail.

Guests will have complete and private access to the entire home during their stay. This includes both levels of the house, the two porches with seating, and dedicated on-site parking for up to two vehicles. Entry is via a secure, keyless system for your convenience.



The Neighborhood:

The Elliotborough/Cannonborough district of downtown Charleston. With its friendly neighbors, cozy restaurants, and tree lined streets, our neighborhood will immerse you in Charleston’s classic charm. This house is perfect for a family or group seeking a fun, culinary and cultural vacation. Popular dining spots in the neighborhood include Xiao Bao Biscuit, Fuel, Porchetta Shop, Southbound, R Kitchen, Chubby Fish and many more! Our guests and neighbors also rave about Welton's Tiny Bakeshop and Kudu Coffee. We recommend going to either for a cup of locally-roasted coffee or their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops, book stores and fashion boutiques – as well as endless buzzing restaurants and bars.



Getting Around:

You can walk almost everywhere - but should you want to rest your feet, there are many other options for getting around: Uber, Lyft, Charleston Bike Taxi, Charleston Rickshaw, Green Taxi or Yellow Cab.



Other Things to Note:

Luggage storage offered Monday- Friday at our main office from 8:30am-5pm. On weekends we recommend utilizing Bounce Luggage storage. Please inquire once booking is complete for the address!

This was the perfect spot for our bachelorette party (group of 12) to stay for a long weekend. The hosts were extremely communicative and even brought us sheets for the pull-out sofas and extra towels when we called at midnight. Extremely clean, great location, quiet (aside from neighbors who were up late), and comfortable beds. Would highly recommend this place! I was at first nervous due to space constraints with a larger group, but it fit our needs very well and it was nice to have two separate areas for girls to get ready, hangout, cook, etc.
