This is a gorgeous house in a perfect location. It is easily within walking distance to everything, literally 2 blocks from Donnelly street and downtown. I don’t think it took more than a 5-10 minute walk to get to anything we wanted to see or do. Even with how close it is to everything, it is on a very quiet, peaceful street. The house itself is beautiful, the listing pictures are 100% accurate. You can tell the owners really put their heart and soul into it. It is beautifully updated while still keeping the original charm. They really thought of everything, down to labeling the light switches (a very helpful touch I’ve not seen in other rentals). The yard is beautifully landscaped, & the backyard fire pit area was a nice private space to hang out after a long day exploring. The house was spotlessly clean and well stocked with linens, towels, soap, etc. The beds were quite comfortable with nice fluffy pillows. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pans, etc. There was also a well very stocked coffee bar we quite enjoyed. The hosts were wonderful, had great communication, and were readily available to help if needed (we had zero issues). They provided a binder full of helpful information about the home and Mt. Dora, including some of their favorite recommendations for restaurants and things to do.I would absolutely stay here again the next time I visit Mt. Dora. I’ve stayed in many STVRs over the years, and this was BY FAR the nicest one I’ve ever stayed in.
