About this cottage rental
Our house is located 7 km from Sarlat, close to the great sites of the Périgord and the Lot. The small stream that runs along the property is called the Enéa, the valley has a remarkable fauna and flora. If you like the countryside you will appreciate the calm and summer freshness of this place. We are restoring the small mill located 30 m from the rental. We will make you discover it with great pleasure. The mill race runs along the terrace of the cottage. Many hiking trails pass near the mill. Our village has a rich heritage, the castle of Paluel, the castle of St Vincent, the church and a listed hut and many other places to discover during your walks.

Beautiful historic property, surrounded by countryside yet short drive to Sarlat. House had everything that we needed. It was relaxing after a day sightseeing to sit by the water next to the old mill with a glass of wine. The hosts Pascal and Elizabeth made us feel very welcome. Many thanks for a lovely week.

I spent a week in Moulin Bas in June 2016, together with my son, a couple of friends and their daughter. The house is as beautiful and spotless as it appears on the photos. Well equipped, spacious and fresh, with a very nice “déhors”, it can be highly recommended to all those who are looking for a relaxing time in the middle of a magnificent region of woods, hills and ancient villages. Ideal for families: children will have fun running on grass, spotting animals and just walking in the woods in the surrounding area. Proprietors are kind, extremely correct and fast in answering emails. (Advice: you have to bring your own bed linen and towels.) My overall impression is excellent and I would recommend this place.
