About this apartment rental
Newly renovated 2 bed/ 1 bath upper duplex unit located in midtown area(1/2 mile from Downtown; 1/2 mile from the Center for the Arts/Dow Gardens/Library; & 1.25 miles from the Midland Country Club) .Sleeping accommodations provide: 2 bedrooms; 1 king bedroom, 1 queen bedroom, and a pull out ottoman twin size bed in the living room + full size couch. We provide an air mattress and extra linens for guests beyond 5.
The space
This Unit of the duplex is the top floor of the home, there is a few exterior stairs (4 exactly) into the home as well as a full flight of interior stairs within the house to enter the upper unit.
Inside you will find 2 spacious bedrooms(one king bedroom & one queen bedroom), 1 full bathroom, large galley style eat in kitchen, and a large open floor plan living/dining room area.
The living/dining room area is incredibly spacious, offering plenty of seating options for relaxation and quality time with your loved ones. Enjoy movie night or the big game on our 58" Smart TV while cuddled up on the full size sofa, swivel arm chair, or pull out twin bed/ottoman. When it's time to gather for a meal or play games, the dining table with seating for 4 provides the perfect space(pull up the 2 bistro table chairs or the office chair for extra seating)! We provide cards and a small collection of board games, we often rotate games between our units so they stay ever changing.
The fully stocked galley style eat in kitchen is perfect for making home cooked meals, complete with brand new appliances, pots, pans, plenty of dishes and glassware, wine glasses, k cup coffee maker, toaster, and microwave. Don't worry we didn't skip pizza cutters, measuring cups, hot pads, or any other essentials! We stock our kitchens to please our guests, if anything is missing we welcome requests! :)
Our full bathroom provides a full size tub and is stocked with Shampoo, Conditioner, Toilet Paper, Linens, Bath Mats and a Blow drier.
Our Brand new Dual function Washer/Drier in the laundry room provides convenience with a wash/dry cycle for you to start laundry before heading out for the day and come home to completely washed and dried laundry! But if you prefer a standard experience this machine does allow you to wash only or dry only as well. You will also find a small iron board and iron in our laundry room.
Traveling with kids or a baby? In the queen bedroom closet you will find a pack n play, toys and books for children and babies. :) Forgot something for your child? Don't hesitate to request with us, we have a child at home, and if its something we have and are not using we may bring it over for your stay. :)
Outside on the small private patio/balcony space you will find exterior chairs and cushions in the storage box, as well as a gas fire table for your enjoyment. Feel free to bring your own charcoal or camping grill if you'd like to cook out!
