Welcome to this peaceful cabin perched above Lake Cushman, offering the most amazing view you can find. This beautifully designed house has its own private lake access and dock right below the property. Inside, you’ll be welcomed into a beautiful peaked-roof great area with floor-to-ceiling windows looking out to the lake and mountains, plus three comfortable bedrooms and three nicely stocked bathrooms. Perfect for gatherings, cozy escapes, and family time year round. Don`t miss your chance!
In this cabin you’ll immediately be welcomed into a large great room with floor-to-ceiling windows offering amazing views of the lake and mountains. Here you’ll find two comfortable couches, a dining table for meals or game nights, free Wi-Fi, and a smart TV for all your streaming needs.
The kitchen is well-stocked with everything you might need to cook a great meal. Stay cozy with central heating and additional portable tower heaters, and in the hot summer months enjoy portable air conditioning units to keep you cool.
When you’re ready to head outside, relax on the spacious deck overlooking the lake, complete with outdoor seating and a grill for your use. From there, take the well-maintained staircase down to your private dock, where you can swim or take out the kayaks we provide. We also offer an alternative downhill walking path to the dock if you prefer.

Please note: it’s a decent number of stairs, but well worth it once you’re on the water. Alternatively, there is a zigzag sloped walking path that also leads down to the lake if you prefer a gradual walk.

It's a very nice property with an amazing view. We hope to return to truly enjoy it, as a wind change caused smoke from a nearby forest fire to swallow us up - we ended up needing to leave in less than 24 hours. Take away that infrequent twist, and I would highly recommend booking this beautiful spot!

This property is absolutely amazing. The view of Lake Cushman, the quiet, the lake access. All of it is top tier. When we travel, we pick the place based on the view and access to the water, not too much on the amenities (except when we travel to warmer climates we always make sure there is AC). That being said, this property has literally anything you need. We took advantage of the toaster oven, gas oven & range, the blackstone grill, washer/dryer, literally all of it. The showers were great as well. The communication from Kim, the property manager, was amazing as well. Prior to our check in, she let us know of a minor issue that came up from the previous renters, which was appreciated. We had myself, my wife and 5 of our 6 kids stay and the property and it handled our family with ease. The kayaks were a big hit with the kids too!Should we come back to this part of the country, we will absolutely stay at the Samara Lake House again! Highly recommend!

Beautiful house nestled on a very quiet lake. House was well appointed and very clean. My family enjoyed kayaking around the lake and spending time out on the deck. Manager was able to provide some suggestions for hiking in the area due to the closure of the Staircase area from the forest fire.
