About this apartment rental
Olhörnweg in Wyk is an excellent choice for a lovely vacation home; our cozy vacation rental is located very close to the lighthouse. Just a stone’s throw from the sea, you’ll enjoy a wonderful vacation. Take a stroll along the beach promenade to Wyk and enjoy the North Sea breeze.
Our “Meeresbrandung” apartment is located on the second floor of a well-maintained, quiet townhouse surrounded by greenery at Olhörnweg 1 and spans two levels. From the entrance, you’ll step into a fully equipped kitchen with a ceramic-glass cooktop, oven, microwave, electric kettle, coffee maker, dishwasher, washer-dryer, and egg cooker—a space that invites you to cook.
Next to it is the small, functional bathroom with a shower. The bright, spacious living room features a high-quality sleeper sofa with a slatted frame (150 x 190 cm), a cozy dining area, cable TV, Wi-Fi, and a phone with free calls to German landlines opens onto the balcony, which offers a stunning view across the expansive garden toward the sea. You can reach the upper floor via a space-saving staircase, which is secured at the top with a stair gate. Here you’ll find two interconnected bedrooms, one with a double bed (160 x 200 cm) and the other with two single beds (some under a sloped ceiling, each 90 x 200 cm). One of the rooms also offers a beautiful view of the sea. All essential amenities, such as a bakery, supermarket, etc., are within a 10-minute walk. The beach is about 100 meters away, and the Aqua Föhr seawater wave pool is just a few minutes’ walk away. The center of Wyk and the promenade, with its cozy cafés and boutiques, are just a few minutes’ walk away.
Highlight: From around the beginning of May through the end of September, a seasonal beach chair awaits you on the beach—available free of charge!
