Fresh tropical fruits, a choice of farm eggs from our neighbours, or a vegan option with an authentic homemade Baobab, beans, potato and herbs soup, and with each order we serve fresh off the pan chapati & mandazi, jam, beans, nuts, tea & coffee — made and delivered each morning by women from the village.
Every breakfast directly supports local families and keeps traditional recipes alive. It’s one of the best things you’ll do here. ✨

Zanzibar is predominantly Muslim and the neighbouring mosques are beautiful and active — expect the melodic call to prayer five times daily including sunrise. Many guests tell us it’s one of their favourite parts of staying here.
