Dukes Cottage is a beautifully renovated 2-bedroom cottage in the heart of Handbridge, combining the charm of a 100-year-old property with a stylish, modern interior. Just a 2-minute walk from the River Dee and around 5 minutes on foot from Chester city centre, it’s perfectly placed for exploring the city, its historic walls, shops, restaurants, cafés and attractions.
Sleeping up to 6 guests, the cottage has two comfortable bedrooms upstairs and additional sleeping space on the sofa bed in the lounge. The bright, contemporary living room is a lovely place to relax after a day exploring Chester, with comfortable seating, a TV and cast-iron stove-style fireplace.
The modern, fully equipped kitchen has everything you need for a short break or longer stay, including a dishwasher and washer/dryer.
Upstairs, the beautiful bathroom is a real feature of the cottage, with a freestanding roll-top bath for a relaxing soak and a separate rainfall shower.
Free Wi-Fi is provided throughout, with TVs in both bedrooms as well as the lounge.
Outside, there is a private, attractively lit rear courtyard with lovely views towards the historic Church of St Mary Without-the-Walls – a peaceful spot to sit and unwind.
