Beautifully appointed two-bedroom house with a the fixtures; conveniently located to the Plaza, O’Keefe museum, shopping, galleries, restaurants. A perfect get-away to enjoy the many charms of Santa Fe!

The location of this house was excellent for walking into town and going to the grocery store and mall.

The configuration of this property is not clear from the pictures or the description. The exterior view of the front makes it look like a duplex because it has two doors along the front porch. It is not a duplex; the door on the right serves as the front door. The left door is boarded up and non-functional. The next point of confusion was the owner leaves his car in the driveway, so upon arrival, pulling into the driveway blocks another car. While the check-in material clearly indicated driveway parking (only), there was no way to know who the lead car belonged to. There is a casita at the end of the driveway which makes it even more confusing. There is a brief mention of a casita in the property description, but access is not clear. If occupied, there will be people walking along the side of the house during the day and evening. This is not ideal, especially if there are pets in the main house. Finally, the most aggravating feature of the rental was the back yard was not connected directly to the house. You were forced to exit a side door from the kitchen, turn left, merge into the entry for the casita, and access a gate for the backyard. Again, this was not made clear from the property description and is a potential deal breaker for the property. In many ways, I feel the property description was deceptive. Finally, the owners or management company inundate you with texts and emails as soon as you rent the property: daily, and sometimes multiple messages. Their communications become an annoyance, especially for someone who is a past Santa Fe resident. Their offers of discounts on another day on either end of the rental came too late to take advantage of and would have been better served arriving immediately after the rental was booked. The whole 'management' issue felt poorly executed. They would be better served checking on the quality of work of their cleaning crews.
