We wanted to stay in Newport, but nothing was available. The Inn was about half an hour away. Not really a problem. Beds were comfortable and clean.
The room was rather small, considering it had two double beds. Not much room to turn around or open suitcases, but we were only staying one night and leaving early the next morning. The apparent lack of air conditioning might have been a problem in the summer, but it was fine for our fall trip.

Quaint, personal, staff escorted us to the room, made sure we were comfortable, checked that we knew how to work the key, and that we had everything we needed.
