Comfort Residence

The location was excellent, the bed was very comfortable, there was good and modern AC, it had an elevator, it was quiet even being on a main street. Easy to get places by Metro or bus or walking, close to a great neighbourhood. The bathroom was brand new so was very good, and there was enough toilet paper for my stay. The entry codes all worked very well, no issue with that at all, and it was a quiet building with other apartments, although I could hear the person above moving around.

Coming into the building it was quite rundown, old paint and scratched up elevator door, great there was an elevator but it wasn't particularly clean, and never fully was level to step out of when it opened. Could not get the TV to work to watch anything, and none of the plugs worked in the kitchen so I had to boil water for tea by the bedside table. There were utensils but only very large spoons, no teaspoons to mix things into teat and coffee, no tea towels only one dishcloth, so if I needed to dry something to reuse right away there was no tea towel or paper towel. I went to use a pan and it was totally rusted in the middle so unusable. If had wanted to cook any meals it would not have been very good, even the plug on the stove didn't work, and the stove was not the cleanest looking either. My concern is if the plugs that didn't work are a safety/fire hazard.

La clim ne marchait pas du tout, les prises électriques nécessaires pour la bouilloire ou le grille pain, étaient hors d’usage. J’ai appelé trois fois, message uniquement en anglais pour un pays francophone ???!!!!et jamais répondu .

Comfort residence is situated in a good location which was close to public transport and lots of eateries. The area felt safe and the property had all the essentials.

The people in the room next to us had parties every night and it was very noisy. They played loud music and were very sang songs very loudly which made it hard to sleep.

The instructions to get in were easy to follow.

The listing said there was a balcony and there wasn't. The photos made it seem like it was very bright when It actually was very dark. You walls were thin so you could hear the neighbors. Thankfully mine weren't being disruptive, but you could still hear them move around and talk. There also wasn't any washing machine as advertised. When I asked for a discount for a getting a room without balcony and washing machine, the property disregarded my request.
