This stay was a gem. It's a ways out, so you may struggle to get taxis to and from the airport and Almaty, but the host were very accommodating and were able to schedule a shuttle. The place is clean and comfortable, allowing you to really enjoy the outdoors and hop around the mountain. The staff was super friendly and accommodating, being very helpful over WhatsApp.
Some of the craftsmanship was still... underway. The stairs up the loft felt shaky and unstable at times, forcing you to go really slow. I'd imagine visitors on the plus side may find this not suitable for them. Additionally, the door to the balcony was not fully attached opening so balcony was not available because of this. Lastly, you will have to ask a staff how to lock and unlock your door as this is not intuitive.
