PAMD Hostel

The location is nice. Nearby places are accessible. Clean, cozy room n beautiful view from the balcony. U can prepare your meals in the common kitchen. The hostel staff is very welcoming with friendly behaviour. Comfortable stay at a very reasonable price.

This hostel is "the best" especially for budget travellers or students like me, an aunty lives here, she is extremely kind and generous with some exceptionally good cooking skills as she makes amazing homely, simple yet very tasty and filling food. Fooding cost is also affordable than most of the homestays or even cheap hotels. The main highlight of this hostel is that toytrain boards nearby Ghoom station,I can watch toytrains all day from the room itself. Rooms are very neat and clean,bathrooms are very clean and view is great from the windows.I have stayed here for 2nights. Firstly I've reserved room from booking.com. However from the website it seems to be glitchy, for that I'd recommend everyone to directly contact the property for fewer fees. I've accidentally booked room for 1 adult, I've came along with a friend and we required 2 beds, the aunty certainly gave us a discounted price i.e the actual price distinguished from the website. And oh my good The aunty has a great music taste. Free wifi is also available. The main tourist attractions such as mall road are a bit far from this hostel but you can take local taxis or buses from the road just below the hostel. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. It was fully worth staying here I am definately looking forward to make a stay here whenever I visit darjeeling. Highly recommend!
