Ibis Styles Xian Wulukou Subway Station

Good location inside the city wall, close to Wulukou subway, only a few blocks away from the city wall on one side and the bell tower on the other. There were many restaurants and stores nearby, but of a very local atmosphere so learn some Chinese or get your translator out! Room was spacious and uncomplicated. I slept very well on the comfortable bed after multiple full days walking in the summer heat. Shower had great pressure and plenty of complimentary bottled water was provided.

I unfortunately booked a room with a window into an "internal void" without knowing. It was fine because I was really only in the room to sleep, but I do like waking up to the sunlight so it was a bit disappointing but I can only blame myself for not being more attentive in the booking! Coffee was not provided in the room, even as instant powder. This isn't unusual in China as a whole but I would've liked to see it, especially from a western affiliated brand like the ibis.
