Very comfortable bed, felt like a home from home. Washing machine very handy as needed to do a big sports kit wash on the Saturday night ready for Sunday. The drying rack was very useful and the house was nice and warm which speeded up the drying process. The owner came and fixed a hole the second day in the back gate, where my dog would have probably escaped if not repaired. Plenty of plug sockets for charging and use of electricals (very important for my kids) Downstairs loo/utility room very handy for drying out our umbrellas after being caught in the rain on Saturday afternoon. Handy for a food shop, Asda is a 5 minute walk through the park round the back of the house. Easy to get to by car, with space for 1 car on the driveway (it's a bit narrow but I parked a Hyundai I40 on there) and also easy to get to from Basingstoke station if visiting by train on the number 1 bus run by Stagecoach.

No TV remotes for two of the TVs upstairs (the Hisense TVs), though the owner brought two to try during our stay, neither of them worked and he'd gone before they could be checked. No cheese grater 🙈 mum said she had to peel cheese rather than grate it. Some might say being picky but when you're paying £236 a night you'd hope that it would all be there in working order from the off.
