Good power shower, great swimming pool, excellent location

The decor is dated, needs a refurb as could be much nicer looking, pots & pans a bit grubby. Bedroom could do with a king bed instead of a double. Kitchenette very small

Lovely apartment, in good location

Relaxing, quiet, location

The owner was very good in responding to messages and helpful in providing an iron and ironing board. The swimming pool and gardens are pristine. The apartment suited us for a short stay to attend a wedding.

The balcony and poolside are 100 metres from the highway which carries 6000 vehicles an hour . So it is noisy, although the bedroom at the back of the property is quiet . The apartment is small and serviceable . Cala de Mijas is over-crowded and over-developed so best avoided in peak holiday times! We chose the apartment because if it’s earlier than usual check-in time. However the owner, the day before arrival advised us that previous guests were checking out after normal check out time and she couldn’t arrange cleaning until the evening . And whilst she arranged towels for us it was not pleasant to arrive to unmade bed and dirty shower etc . Cleaning was arranged for later that evening when we were out at a party . I would not expect to check in to any hotel or apartment without the room being serviced before hand and whilst the owner explained their difficult position she offered no gesture of goodwill claiming she couldn’t offer reduction due to our booking via booking.com . Ultimately, contractually , we did not receive what we booked . Therefore I have underscored this property . I have worked for over 35 years in the tourism business so understand good customer service …
