Pousada São Vicente

The room was adequate for my purposes; they helped me have one with a desk. And, they arranged a garage to park a rental car in. The shower worked well and WiFi connection was almost always good. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast is hardy, with scrambed eggs, chicken, hotdogs in tomato sauce, couscous, cut papaya, mango, melon and watermelon, bread and simple cake. The location is good...it's close enough to walk to downtown and a nearby avenue has lots of places to buy basics as well as the city's best coffee shop and bakery.

The rooms are a little odd. They are going through a transition from a kind of working man's bread and board to more of a two-star traveling salesman's BnB. They've repainted and rearranged the rooms, but they are small and the windows look out upon stucco walls...no views. Because of the cement construction, as soon as people are in the lobby/breakfast/common area, it can be very noisy, even in your room with the door closed. While hardy, the breakfast from one day to another is basically the same thing and the coffee was quite weak.

Quarto 02 ( térreo) minúsculos, duas camas de solteiro p ser uma casal, parece que era uma cozinha/copa e adaptaram o um quarto , fica no corredor px a área de circulação e cafe as 06:00 vc nao dorme por conta do barulho
