Coconut Villas Zanzibar

Frühstück macht man selber, hat dazu eine komplett eingerichtete Küche und eine Reihe von kleineren und etwas größeren Läden in Laufentfernung. Das dazu. Ansonsten gibt´s - erstmals in meiner mehr als 15 Jahre andauernden Bewertungspraxis hier bei booking eine glatte 10,0!!! The best accommodation I have ever booked!!! Super freundliche, aufmerksame und interessierte Gastgeber im besten Sinne dieses Wortes, eine bis ins kleinste Detail durchdachte und danach akkurat gebaute Anlage, manchmal (tidenabhängig) nur 30-40 m vom Ozean entfernt. Gute Geister, Menschen, mit denen man normal sprechen kann, die nicht unterwürfig sondern angenehm selbstbewusst sind, uns aber zu Diensten standen, mehrmals täglich aufräumten und putzten. Meine Hoffnung: Dass es das Management schafft, die Anlage über die Zeit so aufgeräumt und toll zu bewahren, wie wir sie vorgefunden haben und erinnern. Manchmal ist Bauen einfacher als Erhalten. Schaut Euch die Bilder an, sie geben das Vorhandene absolut korrekt wieder. Alles war dermaßen perfekt, dass es müßig scheint, noch längere Texte darüber zu schreiben. Alles hervorzuheben, dazu reichen der Platz bzw. die zulässige Zeichenzahl ohnehin nicht aus. Meine Sorge: Ich hoffe, es glaubt keiner, der das liest, dass dieses hier eine Rezession aus Gefälligkeit sei... Everything about Coconut villa was perfection. The villa itself, the location and what made it exceptional is the team who look after you there. We were lucky enough to be in one of the beachfront villas. I believe the internal layout of all the villas are the same. The photos really don’t do it justice. Downstairs there is a large kitchen diner with lounge. There is a hallway from this leading to 3 double bedrooms with beautiful en-suites. There are French doors across the front that open up to the garden area with pool and sunbeds.There is separate access to the upstairs which also has its own kitchen/diner//lounge, another double bedroom with ensuite and french doors opening onto the balcony with a wonderfully positioned egg chair for reading in while admiring the views and sun loungers in a shady area. There was the lovely added touch of fresh flowers in every room. A few short steps away is the beach with the softest sand I ve ever experienced. Matemwe beach varies dramatically with the tides. When the tide is in you can have a swim, when it recedes out to the reef you can paddle through the water and see the starfish, sea cucumbers, urchins etc. There are a number of restaurants within a few minutes walk some local ones and ones in beachfront resorts. Also a short walk away is an ATM, a small supermarket aswell as multiple fruit and veg stalls. You also have the option of a prepared meal being delivered to your villa, we had breakfast one day which was lovely. You won’t need to worry about shopping straight away though, or perhaps not even at all, as the welcome pack meant the kitchen was fully stocked with bread, butter, eggs, yoghurts, fruits and plenty of drinks What makes Coconut villas outstanding though is the team that look after you there. There were always kind words, thoughtful touches and and altogether we were looked after above and beyond anything I have experienced before.

„Miejsce polecili nam znajomi. Było lepiej niż oczekiwaliśmy. Piękne miejsce, villa z basenem, prywatna plaża, wszędzie zieleń i pełno kwiatów. Zaskoczeni byliśmy pełną na nasz przyjazd lodówką w pełni wyposażonej kuchni. W odległości 2/5 minut spacerem po plaży cztery restauracyjki. Rano zamawialiśmy śniadanie. Z kawą na tarasie, z widokiem na ocean - marzenie. Jednego dnia zamówiliśmy lokalne jedzenie z lokalną kucharką. Bardzo się udało! Musimy też napisać, że czuliśmy się świetnie zaopiekowani przez obecnego właściciela Coconat Villas. Pana Bernarda. Wracamy we wrześniu!!!”

What an amazing and beautiful place to relax after a safari! We were picked up at the airport. We arrived to have breakfast on the terrace prepared for us, with an ocean view like only seen in the movies! The villa is more beautiful than in the photos. The host, Laucin, well I just wish everyone could have such a careful and kindly host! Magic surroundings, beautiful decor and incredible luxury/comfort. We plan to return for New Years with the whole family!
