Comfortable room and hotel

Accommodating staff, good complimentary coffee and tea available in the lobby, luggage storage after checkout. My room had an extensive patio garden enclosure through the glass door, the room was spacious, this garden was even more extensive than the room. It felt like an oasis of green and calm in the middle of dense Thessaloniki. Good room and bathroom design.

My room was right off the reception area, and the room door provides absolutely no sound insulation or canceling. Any animated conversation in the lobby sounded like it was happening inside my room. The room was described as a studio, but it was nothing of sort. It was a hotel room with its own big patio garden in the back, no kitchenette or anything like that. The room was comfortable and good nonetheless.

Convenient location and the view was nice.

It was alongside a noisy and busy street, unexpectedly, so I heard lots of cars and motors and the emission gasses bothered me. The host was not very kind and welcoming.

Pleasantly surprised

Urban Donkey is fantastic, i didn't expect it to be soooo good! I was so pleasantly surprised. It was quiet, clean, the staff very polite and helpful, strong WiFi signal, fridge in the room, the bed was very comfy, the location very convenient.

Great place! Would stay again

Very nice and modern apartment in a nice location. Furniture and appliances were very new and clean. The room was very well decorated, nothing extra and nothing missing. The balcony was great. AC, fridge, and Wi-Fi were working properly. Almost everywhere is within walking distance. Special thanks to Andrei for changing our room because I thought a studio with a terrace had a balcony... We would definitely stay again and recommend it to friends and family. Very nice place.

Everything was great and I recommend the hotel.

The room was really big and the air conditioning worked great. We were greeted by a very friendly lady at the reception. Also, there was always free water waiting for us at the reception, and we could also help ourselves to coffee and tea.

A minor complaint is that there is no breakfast. But that's not a big deal, because right next to the hotel there is a shop where you can buy everything for breakfast and it is open 24 hours.

Was okay for few days

Room is very comfortable and big. Its simple and was clean.

Its a pity that AC couldnt be used. We got to know when we asked that its centrally controlled and the point is… we didnt get AC. Was really hot because the room is getting a lot of sun in the morning till afternoon. Its like a sauna. The only thing we could use was the fan but not cooling at all. We couldnt sleep well and we always required to leave the room from 8/9am onwards because of the heat and humidity in the room. Very unfortunate that the staff didnt want to help. For the money we paid very unfortunate. Also be careful of the area, in the night there can be junkies around

Run away!!!!

Tottaly inappropriate behavior for the hospitality industry of a receptionist (the blonde one to be exact). This lady managed to ruin the Easter celebration that we had planned to spend in the Thessaloniki. On Easter night, after the church service, tradition says that red eggs are broken and cozonac is eaten. Because we sat in the lobby area and used the chair at the reception they asked us to pay them a fine and threatened us with the police. I was alao about to call the police by myself considering her behaviour. The lady screamed at us as if we were criminals, and this in front of other guests. An experience that we will not forget and that we wanted to share with others to know what kind of people they are dealing with. In addition, the cleanliness leaves much to be desired. Every day in front of the elevator or stairs you could find dog excrement. One of the rooms did not have a protection on the window and when we checked in the window was wide open. I hunted mosquitoes all night. About 12 the first night and the scenario repeated every day after.

A Hotel without Reception

Despite booking a non-smoking room, the strong smell of smoke was pervasive. The windows were partially opened to air it out, and I intended to request a room change. However, the reception was unreachable; neither their regular nor emergency phone lines were answered, forcing me to contact Booking.com support. Furthermore, no reception staff were present even at checkout. This lack of on-site management raises serious concerns about guest safety and implies that in an emergency, one would need to contact external services like the police or fire department independently.

Will pay a little more for a better hotel

It was clean , but the neighborhood was not. Although I thought it was safe. The bed and pillows were hard. The location was close to everything . But our friends stayed at Daios overlooking the sea with a luxurious room for $20 more. I would pay $20 more for a better hotel.

We have arrived at very late night and they have arranged the keys to be collected from the reception desk without a zero problem. The room had a very nice terrace. We had a calm time there while having our morning coffees. There is local places near the hotel where we had a lovely breakfast. Thank you!

Very easy check in experience, even if you arrive late. Super flexible and friendly. The room was clean, spacious and the small balcony was nice. There were free water bottles, tea and coffee at the reception. There was hairdryer.
