Xenia-Retreat

The Villa was gorgeous, well appointed, comfortable & clean. The Villa has been styled very nicely - modern decor and beautiful gardens surrounding. The location was good for our group as we had a car. The pool was lovely and a welcome perk. Plenty of food and drink was provided in the villa for our consumption including wines, coffee and fresh produce. The host GianLuca was attentive and helpful. Easy to check in and out. Overall we were very comfortable in this villa and would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

There were not enough towels for an extended stay - only 1 per person - we stayed 10 days so this meant that we needed to wash the towels. I asked for another set and was told i would need to pay 30 euro for this. The gate was a little cumbersome as it was not remote controlled. Also the price - I thought it was a little expensive for the location. Overall though - we were very happy here - the negatives were minor things.

Bij aankomst werden wij ontvangen door Gianluca, die ons wegwijs maakte in de villa. De villa zelf is ruim en smaakvol ingericht en biedt alle comfort die je nodig hebt voor een ontspannen vakantie. De keuken is volledig uitgerust met alles wat je nodig hebt. In de villa lagen fruit, worst, kaas en wijn klaar, en iedere kamer heeft een eigen, zelf in te stellen airconditioning, wat in deze streek een groot pluspunt voor ons was. Er is een gedeeld zwembad beschikbaar; tijdens ons verblijf hadden we het voor onszelf, maar we hebben er geen gebruik van gemaakt omdat er in de omgeving van Locri kilometerlange vrije stranden zijn. Bovendien voelen de twee camera's gericht op het zwembad toch wat ongemakkelijk aan. Gianluca is een uitstekende gastheer: altijd beschikbaar, behulpzaam en attent, zonder opdringerig te zijn. Of het nu ging om tips over de omgeving, lokale restaurants of praktische zaken, hij stond altijd klaar en heeft ons uitstekend geholpen. Op vijf à tien minuten loopafstand zijn er goede restaurants te vinden.
