Actual cockroaches. Dirty, cold, refused to stay.

Booked as it was close to town. Couldn't stay there so didn't make any difference.

After booking I messaged and called the manager for details on how to access the property but no answer. After arriving I finally got hold of him to let me in. The heating was off so it was freezing. At first glance it looks OK, with most issues being things I'd usually be willing to overlook for the location and price. But after spotting the first (and then second and third) cockroach on the walls you start to look closer. Aside from the cockroaches (which is a deal breaker anyway), there are cobwebs, cockroach droppings, mystery marks on the carpet and curtains, the fridge, microwave, and kettle were all dirty, the smoke detector was covered, and most of the advertised facilities weren't there... Not even a towel for the bathroom. I didn't have the courage to check the bed. I refused to stay but of course when I tried to contact the manager there was no answer, I've still not had a reply from him. Booking.com have also been pretty useless so I've not even been able to get my money back despite not staying. I wish I was exaggerating, but check the pictures (turns out I can only upload 4 which is a shame as I have loads) and book anywhere else.

No hot water it hadn't been set. No vacuum cleaner so I couldn't hover. And for a new renovation I was surprised to find a small quantity of brown beetles mostly around the cooking area, I hoped they were 't roaches!

Was absolutely scruffy ! I’m sure a homeless person would probably turn there nose up! The place is absolutely filthy I’ve come home and I’m covered in bites! The “clean” bedding …… well one pillow was stained yellow! There was no tv in the room I had to ask for one! There is no cooking facilities really no kettle 1 plate 1 cup! The smell is disgusting! He stated there was parking when I arrived there is room for 3 maybe 4 cars the rest have to park outside in a ticketed location! I would strongly recommend NOT STAYING HERE

Hard to get hold of the landlord when you have a problem with the electricity is going off due to a charge meter that he didn't top-up. The area around the apartment has rubbish and junk everywhere

Room is nice, landlord very poor communication

The landlord is hard to reach, doesn't pick up the phone, the electric went off because he didn't charge the meter even though he was told it need doing 12 hours before it ran out via app, text and email. The area outside the room is very rough.

good location, not an apartment is a bedsit in converted offices. only good thing is location to town centre

good location was 10 mins away from where I needed to be for work.

hard to park as only space for 4 vehicles and block houses many people. stated free Wi-Fi had to wait over 24 hours for Wi-Fi info. host takes days to respond to enquiries, communication could be a lot better. room I stated in was not an apartment more like a bedsit, the property is a converted offices into rooms. fag burns in the headboard of the bed I was sleeping in. when I arrived I had to wipe over everything with cleaning products as was not satisfactory.

everything destroyed into the property, the doors on the wardrobe broken, oven not working, some sockets not working, everything dirty inside. the owner didn’t answer at the phone when I needed some answers.
