Car-Friendly Gem, Quiet Stay with Free Parking

This is a rather small apartment about 20 minutes away from the main train station using streetcar number 10 (start at the "Lasipalatsi" stop which is actually 2 minutes on foot from the main station). The mattress was fantastic for my finicky back by having the right balance between soft and hard. I haven't slept this comfortably in years but YMMV. The TV is set up well since you get not only Finnish channels but also YouTube (guest or your own account) and Disney+. It was nice for me to stream background music on YouTube via the TV instead of my laptop. The Wi-Fi was fine apart from the brief period when it wasn't working upon returning one evening but I assume that it was a brief problem with the provider rather than the apartment's modem. For the independent traveler, it'll do the job for a short stay as there's a microwave, electric kettle, coffee machine, electric range, fridge-freezer and washing machine. There's also a small foldable drying rack for laundry. Less than 5 minutes of walking to the northwest will get you to the bus and streetcar stop "Ruskeasuo". For groceries, there's a 24-hour outlet of the Alepa chain which is across the street from the public transport stop and a small outlet of K-Market which is 5 minutes away on foot to the east of the apartment.

The check-in instructions are rather intricate but if you follow them closely, they aren't unduly difficult unless you're a total rookie. The showering space in the washroom is laughably small for anyone taller than 5'4" (160 cm). When you take a shower, closing the curtain will separate you only from the toilet and sink, but opposite you will be the washing machine. You can't help but get the front of the washing machine at least a little bit wet when showering. The coffee machine has seen better days and didn't work properly for dripping filtered coffee unless I held the carafe a certain way the whole time.

Rami vieta tolėliau nuo centro. Patogu atvykti 10 tramvajumi. Netoli yra nedidelė parduotuvė. Šeimininkai geranoriškai padėjo dėl ankstesnio atvykimo.

Butas senas su senais baldais ir įranga. Dušas - tik užuolaida prie pat tualeto ir skalbyklės, kas yra labai nepatogu. Po miegojimo pastebėjome, kad paklodės nešvarios, ko gero čiužinys senokai nevalytas, todėl tepa patalynę.

Rauhallinen ja turvallinen majoitus sekä taloyhtiö. Hyvät yhteydet asemille / keskustaan ja silti luonto todella lähellä. Myös ruokakaupat heti lähettyvillä. Asunnosta löytyi kaikki tarvittava majoitukseen ja hiukan enemmänkin. Aktiivinen yhteydenpito ja hienosti varmistettiin, että kaikki majoituksen osalta OK. Tämä majoitus oli juuri täydellinen työmatkani ajaksi:)

WC/suihkutila olisi voinut olla hiukan puhtaampi. Pientä lian kertymistä/kerrostumista havaittavissa.
