Santa Ana Home Cusco

We had a wonderful stay at Santa Ana Home Cusco. The hosts were incredibly friendly, welcoming, helpful and attentive throughout our stay. Their hospitality really stands out and genuinely makes you feel at home. The flat is very spacious and comfortable, making it a great option for families like ours, as well as groups or couples who appreciate having plenty of space. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly throughout our stay, which was particularly important for me as I had to work remotely for a few days. Another big highlight is the amazing view from the property. As the house is located high up on the hill, you get beautiful views over Cusco, which really adds something special to the stay. The area itself is quiet and peaceful while still being relatively close to the historic centre and Plaza de Armas — around a 10-minute drive depending on traffic. We had a very positive experience. The warmth and hospitality of the hosts, the generous amount of space, the peaceful surroundings, the fantastic views and the excellent Wi-Fi made it a particularly comfortable stay for our family. We would happily recommend it.

A couple of practical things are worth knowing. Some tour companies can have difficulty finding the property for pickups, so it is a good idea to give them very clear directions or the exact location in advance. Also, getting down to Plaza de Armas is relatively easy, but coming back up to the property is a different story! We normally found Uber to be the easiest option. Walking uphill from the centre is certainly possible, but given Cusco’s altitude and the steep climb, I would only recommend it if you’re quite fit and looking for a challenge.

Muy amplio y confortable! La vista desde las habitaciones es espectacular! Vale la pena la caminata! Llegamos agotados por la altura y el dueño nos preparó mate de coca caliente, fué un gran detalle de su parte! Incluso su esposa nos trajo del centro pastillas para el soroche. Fueron muy serviciales y muy amables. Estamos más que agradecidos! Sin duda volveremos!

Los taxis de aplicativos regresando del centro nos dejan a unos 50 metros, pero como dije vale la pena la caminata!

It is big and very comfortable. Hosts are nice and welcoming, they received us with coca tea and muña tea and even my daughter was hungry and they made cheese sandwiches for her. They are very helpful at providing info about the city. Really nice people :)
