We stayed at this lovely house for 5 days during our trip to the Lake District. We are a family of four with two teenagers, and the house was absolutely perfect for us. The property is spacious, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. The kitchen deserves a special mention. It is exceptionally well equipped, with everything you could possibly need, and it is clear that every detail has been thoughtfully considered. There are three proper bedrooms with very comfortable beds, making it easy for everyone to relax after a day of exploring. The two bathrooms were clean, practical, and very convenient for our family. We especially appreciated the excellent water pressure and the consistent hot water with no temperature fluctuations. The house itself is charming, and the interior design has been created with great taste and attention to detail. The carefully chosen colour palette, beautiful artwork on the walls, decorative flowers, and little ornaments all come together perfectly, creating a warm, cosy, and welcoming atmosphere. It is a place where you immediately feel at home and truly enjoy spending time. There is also convenient parking and a lovely garden area outside. We were travelling by car and used the house as a base for exploring the Lake District. Each day we visited different lakes and hiking areas, and most of the main attractions were within about 30 to 60 minutes' drive, depending on where we were heading. The hosts live next door and are a lovely couple. They were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and a pleasure to talk to. We really appreciated their hospitality and kindness throughout our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would happily recommend this beautiful home to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-equipped, and peaceful place to stay while exploring the Lake District.
