A great choice for near the airport. It crucially depends on Daniel who will pick you up from the airport and deliver you to the apartment. Fine communication in the lead up and we met in the carpark. We took up the offer to drop in to a mini supermarket and chicken fast food place on the way as there is nothing on offer around the stay (it's a soulless, treeless Chinese industrial/apartment district but that's fine for a stopover). Daniel also got us back to the airport despite a mega accident hold up. Appreciated. The apartment is spacious, clean, quiet, good shower, washing machine, fan, air con and kitchen. All you need. Well secured. Payment is in cash only in local KINA currency. No cards. There's a couple of ATMs at the airport. We would come back as it;s the most affordable option nearby.

The unit itself being situated within a gated and secure community (Grand Eden, 8 mile) was part of what made our stay feel safe. There was a small market just outside the main gate where we could walk to and buy vegetables or betelnut, this was convenient. The apartment manager made sure our electricity was always enough and that the TV plan was topped up. We had hot water, and all the necessary kitchen utensils to cook and clean. The entire area was quiet and Daniel (apartment manager) was such a pleasant guy, very friendly and respectful. Thank you Daniel for your wonderful hospitality and impeccable customer service standards.

Bathroom: Overall, the bathroom was very clean, however there was a small amount of visible mold in the shower when we first got there, but not a put off. Just threw some gloves on, scrubbed it down using the cleaning detergents (came with the rental) and Bob's your uncle. Kitchen: Some of the cooking pots were rusty so we did not use them to cook. There was an oven but no baking utensils, not a must have, but as a person who likes baking, it would've been a plus for me personally.

Property is in a safe compound. Staff were amazing and friendly. Definitely exceeded my expectations; I will be staying here again!
