The entirely authentic experience of a fully functional and yet incredibly stylish Greek house is what you get in Alexis New Villas. When you go multiple times to Thassos, like we did, you learn that the best accommodations are the ones that are spacious, away from the noise, but still close to the sea. On top of that, closeness to the forest allows you to cool down in the mountain breeze every morning and evening, while sipping your coffee and enjoying the villa's seaview. A place built with incredible taste by Alexis, who had the vision and the means to take old Thassian architecture and bring it to the present time - walls made of rock, solid wood ceilings and floors combined with modern lighting and appliances give you the sense of an eco-friendly, exotic place that still feels like home. When I get that in an accommodation, I call it luxury. All villas have everything you need for a relaxing stay, from large indoor and outdoor spaces and terraces, comfortable beds and cooking utensils. The owners are very hospitable and they go the extra mile to make your vacation perfect, after our 4 stays in this accommodation they have become like family to us. We have stayed in many great places in Thassos, and we love them all, so I am very well informed when I say Alexis Villas is a true gem, especially for long stays and if you have a pet.
