Quiet area next to Sky Lagoon

Owner was very helpful with taxi information etc. Pleasant balcony to sit on. Great location if you are only visiting the Sky Lagoon or want to stay nearby Rekyavik but not in it . Was a reasonable cost compared to hotels in Rekyavik . Bed and pillows were clean and comfortable . Bathroom shower was clean . Sink and kitchen worktops were clean

The standard of cleanliness could have been much better. Bathroom sink was dirty , toilet paper unflushed in bowl. Hand marks on kitchen cupboards, coffee table covering had crumbs on it . Couldn’t walk with bare feet as they became dirty walking on floor . Two light fittings hanging unsecurely from ceiling . Wardrobes had occupants underwear and clothes in them . Half used food and drink in fridge . I’m sure this flat was occupied by someone who just moved out for the two days I was there
