Lakefront Sand Bay Resort with Private Beach and BBQ

We had a great getaway week. The beach, water, docks, and the firepit were all excellent. There were adequate utensils in the kitchen for basic meal preparation / snacks. The cottage was comfortable and rustic. Wi-Fi was available and worked well. Our host was easy to contact and very helpful. Hot water was plentiful and water pressure was good. The main windows faced the water and gave beautiful views. The deck (on our unit) was large and could accommodate many people. We didn't use the provided BBQ, but it looked good.

The cottage itself was a little run down and was in need of minor repairs, none of which degraded the overall quality of our stay. There was only a single chair (basket chair) provided on the deck, so it was lucky that we brought our own chairs. Lighting in the kitchen (cooking area) was poor, so we took a pole lamp from one of the bedrooms to help out. There was no can opener, so we bought one (and left it behind). NO AC - Hot during the day but cooled off OK at night. No firewood or kindling provided, so bring your own (can be bought locally at many places).

It was not clean and it was not lakefront like they advertised
