I travel to Phuket several times a year from Cebu and have stayed in a lot of hotels around Patong. The Aura Inn was recommended to me by friends who live in Patong. It is central to all the action and amenities, but tucked away so it is not so loud from traffic etc...

Central to party areas, lot of life and services.
Bit noisy. Room, especially bathroom was vey tired, with broken and missing tiles, mold over the sink and broken parts around. Some chlore stains on pillows.
