Okefenokee Pastimes Cabins and Campground

Very peaceful atmosphere. Saw lots of wildlife.

Quiet, super friendly staff, beautiful location, peaceful and relaxing. Definitely will return, although maybe with a mattress topper. My kid loved it and said her bed was super comfy. She was out like a light when her head hit the pillow. Staff could not have been more helpful with explaining after hours check-in when I called. Cabin was very clean with comfortable sheets and pillows. Shower had good pressure and we loved the little screened in porch. Didn't have much time to see the fish pond or playground except in passing but it looked super cute and nice. The grounds were very clean as well.

It really was almost perfect. Only thing-- and this is more an opinion/matter of personal preference-- was the big bed felt like a brand new firm mattress. I actually like firm mattresses but this was like brand new probably never broke in firm. Really wasn't a huge deal, didn't make me sore or anything but I will maybe bring a little mattress topper next time to soften it up. It wasn't a deal breaker by any means though and we will be returning for another stay in the future.

My wife fell in love with everything there. The pond, the fact that it was right across from the park.
