Who needs a houseboat in Srinagar when you have a lovely house right on the lake anyway Dont need a houseboat. This place suits me just fine. And I meet local people. I cant stroll the streets of a houseboat, however nice the family. I prefer to roam around and have fun with Kashmiris (and other random folks). A very good reason to come here, and be open with a smile on my face. Thank you for helping me relax more and not feel uptight confused about not finding the place in the first place. So do I now repeat these kind words as a review of Dal Fog (they are sister properties) Only spoke to Shaqi on the phone, but Janel is a gentle giant, and this place attracts gentle people it seems. It's all positive friendly feelings, dont worry. And yes please, fine folks, with your kind permission: a pleasure to stay at least a couple more nights with you. The location and the view were awesome. We got exactly the room that was selected through the website and the staff was exceptional. They were very helpful also to get to the place. I would highly recommend it! For the money spent, it was perfect
