Luxury 2-Bed with Garden, 4 mins walk to East Finchley station N2

The apartment is beautiful, spacious and the location was fantastic. The beds and kitchen/bathroom were spotlessly clean.

The double bedroom had a large skylight with no means of covering, so it was bright and hot from very early. A camera was visible through this skylight over the bed which was extremely disconcerting. The drains in the bathroom were extremely smelly, barely tolerable.

We arrived for our stay on Friday evening as we were attending a concert. The apartment was clean, modern, and in a lovely, quiet area. It was also in a great location, with the Tube station only a few minutes’ walk away, making it easy to travel to different parts of London. There were, however, a few issues during our stay. The heating wouldn’t turn off, although fans were provided. The bedrooms were spacious, but the main bedroom had a roof window with no blind, meaning people in the apartments above could see into the room, which affected privacy. The bathroom also needed some attention. The toilet door wouldn’t close properly, and the shower drain was blocked, causing the water to rise to ankle height by the time you finished showering. We had brought swimming costumes to use the hot tub, but unfortunately the water smelled awful and appeared not to have been cleaned or had its chlorine levels checked for quite some time, so we decided not to use it. We were also expecting basic refreshments such as tea and coffee, but none were provided. In addition, there was only one drinking glass in the cupboard. As a group of four, we had to use mugs instead. On the positive side, we were able to order groceries for delivery, and they arrived very quickly. Overall, the apartment has a lot of potential thanks to its cleanliness, modern design, and excellent location, but a few maintenance issues and better attention to the facilities would have made for a much more enjoyable stay.
