Saint-Germain-des-Pres- Deluxe duplex for 5

The location was great, in a lively neighborhood surrounded by good restaurants and bars and quick access to supermarket and stores. We were able to work everywhere- Eiffel Tower, Luxemburg Garden, museums, etc.

A few things worth mentioning that will hopefully be addressed: - there’s no AC in the apartment! We happened to visit Paris during a heat wave and it was a bit uncomfortable inside the apartment. Luckily, we spent most of our time outside. This should be clearly stated in the description. - I contacted the managing company and asked for an extra fan for the top level . They said they would try to find one but never sent a final response and left us with only 1 fan. For this reason all for of us had to sleep downstairs! - communication with the managing company was not easy. Not sure if the attendants don’t speak English well or they have some kind of “bot” answering and it isn’t working well. - the photos on the website are a bit “nicer” than what the apartment actually looks like in real life. - some of the lighting was white/cold not allowing spaces to feel cozy. In the main bedroom, one light fixture used white led bulb while the other used a yellow/warm bulb. - the stairs are a quite steep and made of ceramic which result in dangerously sharp edges.

The apartment was in the heart of Saint Germain and easy to walk to everything. The beds were comfortable and the apartment clean and and in order. The host was attentive and had great contact. The building was also renovated and charming.

The only thing that is a bit of a negative is that this apartment is on a street with various pubs and a night club. As we were staying there over the weekend we could hear the music from the club until about 2am.
