Mooie locatie, waarbij je 100 m via een steile helling naar het huisje moet lopen. Ideaal voor het bezoeken van de toeristische trekpleisters(Paleis Pena, Moorse vesting en landgoed Quinta da la Regaleira) van Sintra. Alles op 30 minuten wandelen via steile paden naar boven en beneden. Huisje was van alle gemakken voorzien en host Sandra kan je overal mee helpen wanneer het nodig is. ligging op de berg is mooi met een overzicht over Sintra en in de verte Lissabon
Voor mensen die minder goed ter been zijn is dit huisje moeilijker te bereiken, je moet je auto zeker 100m er vandaan zetten en via steile helling naar boven en beneden lopen over de keitjes. Let op!! geen grote auto, want de straatjes in omgeving zijn smal

The location is just wonderful , next to the forest. The house is very cozy and perfect for two couples or 3 people. It was cleaned and the facilities are really good
The house is quite cold and humid. So bring some extra clothes. I believe full summer is just perfect as it will be cooler than outside.

We loved staying at Casota. It was in a beautiful location and the cottage was charming. The beds were very comfortable and the views from the house were perfect. We also loved having the extra half bath and washing machine. The best part of our stay was Sandra who manages the property. She was amazing. She went above and beyond to help us with our stay. She made all the difference for our family’s visit to Sintra.
Cars are unable to drive up to the front door due to the narrow road. You have to walk up a short hill to get to the house. This should be taken into consideration when booking this property.

Het was een fijne, rustige locatie met fantastisch uitzicht vanaf het terras. Afstand tot bezienswaardigheden op loopafstand als je van een wandeling houdt. Het huis heeft alle voorzieningen die je kan wensen.
Het bed was prima, maar had iets groter en zachter mogen zijn.
