Lovely Trastevere Loft

Location! Quite, but near the heart of Trastevere, still in the historic center. Large studio apartment, perfect for a couple. The shower is good size, hot water and good water pressure. The bed is one solid mattress, comfortable, but does get a bit hard on hips through the night. We are slender, 5’ 11 & 6’3” for weight reference… We did not cook but the small fridge has a small freezer and ice cube trays. Has a microwave too. WiFi we did not use- just for our iPhones. Typically, we travel for work and use Wi-Fi and want a strong signal, but we can’t testify to how good that was through this stay. We’d like to share some specifics because we look for these things when we’re searching comments and reviews.

The only reason for the 9 star is the communication from the property manager. They did communicate the 25 hour window-day of, but traveling internationally, it would be very helpful to get communication on what to expect for check in and when we would hear from them. (I see this often from other places we book, as an automatic response once booking is confirmed.)I also asked when we first made the reservation which was months prior, specifics about the refrigerator and it took them over a month to respond after multiple requests. That is why I gave some refrigerator details and some other details that might be helpful to other travelers. They do send you a link to check in through their management company, and with that link it does indicate to read their FAQ page to understand answers to commonly ask questions. However, those answers do not apply to how this rental was managed. No one greeted us in person, it was self check-in. Which is perfectly fine , it just wasn’t communicated without us having to ask multiple times. Finally to receive the key lock box code, we understand the day of reason there…. There’s a great little restaurant down the block for Wine and a quick breakfast. Enjoy wandering. Also the tram is very close by if you want to take public transportation, it seems quite convenient.

Amazing location where you feel like you’re a local living there. Wonderful to wake up the the bells every morning at 6:45am. Beautifully decorated and felt very authentic. Would recommend!

There are a few stairs to get to the unit and sometimes hard to get an uber but overall very manageable and the unit is walking distance to everything.

The location is perfect. Several local restaurants and bars at your doorstep. The apartment is spacious and beautifully decorated. It had everything we needed. The coffee station was a nice touch. Communication with property management was good.

Location was good but is in a busy area so was noisy with the windows open on a warm night.

It was not only noisy from outside, which I assumed might be possible when booking, but it was very noisy from within the building. You can hear everything when people are in the corridors, but unfortunately also everything including talking and conversations from the neighbouring flat(s). During my stay people were unfortunately up until past 3am and I can’t even complain that they were being exceptionally noisy, it was just that absolutely everything was audible from within the loft flat.
