Shining House Villa A

Very comfortable beds, lovely new ensuite bathrooms very much appreciated. Loved the study set up with a card/games table.

We were surprised to see no working television anywhere in the house. We were disappointed, as during winter we all like to watch the football or relax with a movie at night after dinner. Also, no internet connection to the house created a few problems for our group.

Very nice house. Great fixtures and furnishings. Comfortable beds. Great location.

Hot water in bathrooms fluctuating and some had low pressure. No spare towels or linen. Additional pillows would’ve been nice only 1 per person. No wifi or working tv. If you wanted to cook, not much kitchen equipment.

Cleanliness, the bedrooms all equipped with en-suite, modern and a very comfortable stay. Great location for wineries and local facilities.

It was advertised as having hot tub/jacuzzi however later finding out that this was in reference to the bath tubs in each bathroom, this should be made more clear and updated to avoid such confusion. There is also no lounge room/tv which I think for such a big house accommodating 8 people, a tv is a necessity. The hot water also took a while to start working in some of the showers.

Stunning new home, very spacious. It has big bedrooms and a lovely bathroom with a big bathtub in each. They had beautiful little touches of a welcome wine and cheese. Each bathroom had toothbrushes in them.

Unfortunately getting hot water for showers was inconsistent, there were some occasions where it would take 20 mins to heat up and other times it would be instantaneous. Access to the garage was only manual, and the person had to be very tall to open and close. I can imagine in the rain this would be very nice to have access to a remote. There was no TV (more an FYI) just one large dining area. We would have loved to watch the footy during our stay but weren’t able to. The pillows on the bed were very flat and as each person only got 1 pillow each we weren’t able to stack. The description said there would be a jacuzzi but there wasn’t one, just the bathtubs in each room. A nice to have would be some board games, there was a deck of cards but as there’s no TV a few more games would have made the stay even better.
