Great location in the heart of old Arundel, just under the castle and with great cafes, the lido and the Wetland Centre all nearby. Travelling by train it was an easy walk up from the station.

The timed entry system on the door caused a couple of hiccups as we had agreed an early drop off but it had been timed slightly differently and thought it was a problem with the code and auto lock. Hosts were pretty quick to respond on text/email once sent, but quite a bit of that area is dead signal.

Comfortable and beautifully furnished. In a great position right near the castle and local attractions.

Location, ‘look and feel’, bedrooms good size with useful wardrobes. Kitchen well fitted

Few points, some which are hard to change, others easier. One kitchen chair broken Dining table only seated four when property accommodates six. 2nd floor staircase - should mention in publicity that they may be difficult for elderly people due to small steep stairs. Bins - not clear (to us anyway) what rubbish goes into which bin One guest has difficulty opening online manual - came up with ‘page not found’ WiFi did not reach the master (en-suite) bedroom

Shower in en suite - i was just washing hair when water turned cold. Shower door stuck. The other Shower also ran cold and had sticky door. There was only a digital manual for the house and on arrival no signal- so couldn't even download manual. I appreciate the need to reduce paper but really we needed paper manual as well. It would be good to advise people to download it before they arrive.. BUT The manual didn't cover how to start the system off and the 2 nights were very cold We only found the box on the wall in the kitchen which was the on/ off switch after a very cold night - and found heating had been turned off. The stairs up to the bedroom are extremely steep. We had someone with us who is very tall and scared of heights. They had to ascend and descend the stairs with another person. When ascending as they reached the top 2 stairs they were almost bent double The kitchen is not particularly well equipped
